Our New Home!!!
Married housing in Rexburg is about as competitive as trying to win the NBA finals! There are so many people that are getting married, and not nearly enough places to house everyone. Thankfully Tyler and I were able to get an apartment!! After looking around for the past two months, filling our application after application, and being put on three different waiting lists, we finally have an apartment at University Courtyard! This place will be perfect for Tyler and I because it is across the street from campus and a couple of blocks away from the Temple. We also have Tyler's amazing niece Emily and her husband Kirk (Tyler went to high school with Kirk... Tyler is a match maker just like me! ;) ) who also live there! This place is such a blessing for us, and we are excited to be able to spend the first part of our marriage here!

Cell Phones and my Wedding Shoes!!
Throughout my life I have only had a handful of embarrassing moments. Falling out of the car in front of the whole 7th grade, falling down the stairs in high school , and crying in front of my entire student body and their families are the only major events that I can recall being super embarrassed for, but on Tuesday I had the most embarrassing moment of my life!
Here at BYU-Idaho we have a testing center like many other universities. Before I enter the testing center I have a tradition of turning off my cell phone! Right before the proctors hand you the test they ask you if you have turned off your cell phone. Being honest I responded yes, but I was so wrong! My phone was pressed up against the side of my backpack and was turned back on while I was in the testing center! This would not have been a problem if my AMAZING and WONDERFUL fiance was not so faithful on calling me everyday at the same time! All of the sudden I heard a phone ringing and I thought, "Who's the looser who forgot to turn off their phone," and then my worst fear came true... that looser was me!!!!!!! My PHONE WENT OFF IN THE TESTING CENTER! The test proctors came and took my cell phone and gave me a sheet that said something like, "Your a looser and your phone went off in the testing center so HAHAHAHAHA!" (It didn't really, but that's how it felt!) I went back to finish my test and I was just shaking from head to toe!! I have NEVER been so embarrassed in my whole life!!
Today I received the happiest package in the mail I have ever gotten... MY WEDDING SHOES!! They are RED HOT and super sexy!! I'm really excited about them!! They will be pretty painful to wear for the whole day, but beauty is pain!! Tell me what y'all think!

Fall, Studying, and Weddings!!
Texas usually only has two seasons... summer and winter!! Recently I have discovered the season that exists in between these two seasons-FALL!! I never knew what Fall was like until Idaho! I love this time of year! The leaves are changing colors, apples are super cheap, and it is actually cold outside!!
Recently I have been completely consumed by studying! It never ends! There is always books to read and papers to write, but it helps me keep my mind off of how much I miss Tyler! Tyler lives about an hour away so we are only able to see each other on the weekends! His family is AMAZING for letting me come and stay with them for a couple of days ! I love being able to spend this time with them!
The past few weeks I have been working on applying to get on a program here at BYU-I called Fast Track. If you did not know BYU-I only lets you come to school for two semesters, but Fast Track allows you to attend all year long! Last week I was happy to find out that I was admitted to the Program!!! Now I will done with college in two years!! From the time I graduated from high school to the time I graduate from college it will be THREE YEARS!! I will also graduate the same time as Tyler!
Wedding plans are coming along great!! Thank you EVERYONE for all the help!! I could not have made this enormous decision without the help and support of my family! Only three more months!!!
I LOVE my roommates! They are all amazing! My roommates Lauren, Rachel and myself always go workout together which is super nice to have their support! Here is a picture of all six of us our first Sunday together! Ellie, Rachel and Nicole use to be in my Relief Society, Lauren was the other Relief Society president with me last semester and she is the most amazing roommate, and then Ashely is from Florida, we did not know her before, but we love her!!

Clean Checks
WARNING- KACEY's Complaining!!
I HATE CLEAN CHECKS!!!! Why give us the most stressful cleaning duties the week before finals? REALLY!! My roommates and I started cleaning Friday night around ten, and we did not finish until 8:30 the next morning! We had to stay up all night in order to finish everything they had on their stupid list! Who really needs to clean out an oven that was hardly used... or a moldy fridge!!! Tyler was a saint and helped us clean until curfew. He helped clean the stove and he helped me clean the cabinets! He is truly amazing, we were all so excited to have his help. All the girls who live on the top floor with me kept stopping by and saying how cute it was to have Tyler there helping us! Tyler was even helpful on entertaining us during the night! Now that clean checks are over it is time for finals!! I am sad about having to leave Idaho for seven weeks, but I am excited about going home and earning money! I miss working!! Only four more days of classes!

July 4th Weekend
ZING time together! We left Thursday afternoon and had a wonderful drive to Salt Lake City where we saw some of my friends! We then went to Provo where Tyler met Ryan, Cassie, Zach, and Alison! We had so much fun playing Uno Attack and talking! On Friday Cassie made us Pancakes and even made a special heart shaped pancake for
Tyler! We then went to Wal Mart so Ryan and Cassie could go shopping for Eric's birthday presents! Beth and Eric are sooo precious! It is always so much fun playing with them! When we got home the boy's moved Grandma and Grandpa's old T.V. and then we went to the park to listen to Tyler play his bagpipes!! That night we had a BBQ with everyone and then we went to set off fireworks! We then watched "The Dark Night" with Tyler because he had never seen it!
On Saturday morning we went to a wonderful breakfast at Grammy and Grampy's! Tyler and I left soon after so that we could have some time in Salt Lake City.
Tyler and I spent about two hours in Salt Lake walking around Temple Square and then going to the Church History Museum. Tyler and I had more fun talking about church history and spending time together in one of my FAVORITE places! We made it to Idaho Falls around six, so we were able to spend the rest of the night with Tyler's family
which was SO much fun! Tyler's sister Katy and her family are AMAZING! Katy's husband Eric let us take a picture with his motorcycle. We went to a park close by to watch fireworks, but while we were waiting Katy made so Wonderful fruit parfaits and we played soccer
and football with Tyler's PRECIOUS niece's and his dad! The fireworks in Idaho Falls were spectacular!! They are known as the Best Fireworks show west of the Mississippi! It was so much fun!( These are two of Tyler's niece's! They are so much fun to play with!!)
We had so much fun this weekend with both of our families, and we are excited for this coming week where Tyler will be able to meet mom, dad, Megan, Jason, Ellen, and Gavin! We are so thankful for Cassie, Ryan, Zach, and Alison for letting us bum around with them this weekend and for everything they did to make our visit so much fun!!!

My Amazing Man!

Over the past two months I have had the most AMAZING man in my life!! Almost everyone will be able to meet him next month, and I know y'all are going to LOVE him!!! We will be coming down to Utah twice in July. We will be coming down on 4th of July weekend so that we can spend time with Ryan, Cassie, Zach, and Alison before the rest of the family comes up! Then we will be coming down the weekend after that so Tyler can meet mom, dad, Megan, Jason, and Ellen!
Tyler is an AMAZING guy!! We have spent EVERYDAY together since we started dating except when I went down to Provo for Memorial Weekend! I love spending time with him more than anything else, yet he always makes sure I finish my homework! We have so many interests in common like politics and church history! I have finally met someone that knows more about church history than I do!! Tyler also served his mission in the Ft. Worth Mission!! I first saw Tyler when he was teaching Sunday School. During his lesson he said how much he loved church history and I turned to my roommates and said, "He is my soul mate." I was not too far off! We then met the next day, and we started dating two weeks later and we have been inseparable ever sense.
Everyday I count my blessings to have Tyler in my life! He has made my life so much happier, and I love every minute I spend with him!! He is my best friend, and the best boyfriend!

BYU-Idaho

For the past three weeks I have been living in beautiful Rexburg, Idaho. For those of you that do not know where Rexburg is, it is smack dab in the middle of know where, but the town and the University are wonderful! It was a hard trasistion to go from a smaller college in a big city to a bigger university in a smaller town. I miss Salt Lake so much, and I hope to return there some day, but I have loved the many expericences I have had here at BYU-Idaho. I love my classes and my ward, and I have recently been called as Relief Society President in my ward. It is kind of stressful right now, but I know things will calm down... or at least I hope they will!
So because I have never really put pictures up on my blog they look a little sketchy, but the pictures are of me and my roommates, who I love dearly! They are all so much fun! The next picutre is of me and Celeste Roberts! She lives next door, and we have gotten a lot closer this semester! And the last picture is of Mom and Ryan! I was so thankful to have Ryan and Mom there! Thank you Cassie for letting us borrow Ryan for the weekend!
I miss all of you sooooo much!! I have never felt so far away from all the people I love then I do when I am here, but when I pray and do the things I am suppose to I feel so close to each of you! I love each of you so much!!

Decisions!!
Why are there so many decisions to make in life. In the past month I have had to decide where to further my education, whether to break up with my boyfriend, and what I wanted to major in if I went to another school! I decided I do not like making decisions, but I love the feeling I have when I finally make a decision! So my final decisions are... to attend BYUI in the spring, summer, and fall, I already broke up with my boyfriend, and I am going to major in Elementary Education!
Three weeks ago I was able to go and visit Jason, Ellen, and Gavin in Denver! I had so much fun being able to hang out with them!! They are such a PRECIOUS family! Gavin is probably one of the most perfect babies I have ever met! He would sleep while we were out and about, and he would be so much fun to play with when we were home! Jason and Ellen were so much fun to hang out with! We were able to go out and eat at this fun sports restaurant where we eat so much food for half the price! We also watched some wonderful movies, which is the PERFECT weekend for me! I miss them so much, and I am so jealous they get to go home this week!
This past weekend I was able to go to Provo and celebrate Beth's First Birthday! If y'all have not already checked out Cassie's blog, you should look at how AMAZINGLY cute Beth is!! She is such a doll! Little Eric is just growing up so much! I can't believe he is almost FOUR! It feels like he was born yesterday! We had so much fun partying with Zach and Alison! On that Saturday I was able to see my best friend Jenn, who's wedding I'm a bridesmaid in! We talked about her wedding plans and how all our old friends were doing at BYU! It was so wonderful to spend time with everyone in Provo!
Next week I'm planning on going to BYUI for a visit, just so that I can see what I am getting myself into! I miss y'all so much, but I am so excited to have dad come up here for conference and that I get to go home in a couple of weeks! I hope y'all are doing well! I love y'all!!

Valentines Day!
The past few years Valentines Day has been awful!! Being in high school you see all the couples give eachother flowers and chocolate, while I would sit and wish I had somone that could get me flowers and chocolates. This year is completely different!! I LOVE Valentines Day!! But i realized one thing about this wonderful holiday, when you recieve Valentines from someone special... you also have to give that person something!! It is soooo hard to think of something romantic to give to a guy!! I have sat and thought what I am going to give Karl for two days now, and I have some idea now, but I feel like it won't be as special as what he is going to get me. Guy's can give girl's flowers and they will be over joyed that they rememebered, but if a girl gets guys flowers, he will fell like a wussy!! What am I suppose to do!! Finally I just resorted to buying him a movie and a huge hershy kiss!!
Today I am going over to a friend's apartment and spending the night so we can work on our plans for tomorrow. We are going to have a fun girl's night, but the only bad part about this party is that I won't be able to see Karl until tomorrow night!! :( On Saturday we are having a big date with four couples, Me and Karl, my friends Taylor and Chris, Josh and Katlyn, and Garrett and Brittany. We are all really good friends, so Saturday should be a lot of fun!! The girl's are making dinner for the boys and then we are going to send the boys on a scavenger hunt to all the important places in our relationship! It is nice because Karl and I will just have to stay at the capital, and maybe a couple of other places!! It sounds like the boys are planning something as well, but all I want is some flowers!! Karl's birthday is this sunday!! For his birthday I got ten of his favorite candy bars and on the candy bars I am putting my ten favorite memories with him. I hope he likes it!!
I hope ya'll have a wonderful Valentines Day!! I love each of you sooo much!! Please call me or write me and let me know what ya'll end up doing... I want to hear how romantic my brother's are!!!

My New Life
I LOVE LDSBC!! When mom, dad, Megan, and I pulled into Salt Lake City I knew that this is where I was suppose to be! I love the campus, the people, and most of all my room!! You would think that living in a hotel would be weird, but it is so much fun! My room is beautiful!! It has pink wall paper that matches my quilt very well! There is tons of storage space which is a blessing with all my clothes (Thank You Laura for helping pack my excessive amount of clothes!), and best of all my roommate is wonderful! She is so sweet and we get along great so far! Yesterday we had Freshman orientation and I got to meet so many amazing people!! There is a large amount of foreign students here which makes it so much more fun to get to know all there cultures. At orientation we got to go to the Planetarium here in Salt Lake! It was so much fun to be hanging around such good and faithful LDS people! I miss everyone so much, but I know that this is where I am suppose to be right now in my life!! I love y'all so much and I promise I will blog more often!
